Police kill man after finding woman’s body

Police kill man after finding woman’s body

Sunday, April 26, 2009

(04-26) 19:46 PDT Castro Valley — Two people are dead after two altercations at a Castro Valley home Sunday afternoon – one that included an apparent stabbing death and a second that ended with a man being shot by law enforcement officers.

An Alameda County sheriff’s sergeant and a deputy sheriff responded to a call Sunday at about noon regarding the goings-on at a residence near Fifth and Crescent streets in Castro Valley, according to Alameda County Sheriff’s Sgt. J.D. Nelson.

After knocking at the front door of the residence and getting no response, the officers climbed through a second-story window where they found a woman’s body on the floor with what appeared to be stab wounds, Nelson said. The officers, who were checking the woman on the floor, were taken by surprise when a man came at them wielding a knife. Then, Nelson said, the officers fatally shot him.

No further information was available as of Sunday evening.

Why doesn’t this ring true?
Short, sweet, to the point…? Hey these could be the most honest police officers in the U.S.
But, geezzz

Just one that got caught

ST. LOUIS POST-DISPATCH

St. Louis — A former St. Louis police officer pleaded guilty Monday to a federal charge, admitting she illegally used a law enforcement database to help a friend find out whether a secret arrest warrant had been issued.

Marla A. Arinze, 43, of St. Louis, was overheard on a wiretap in another criminal case agreeing to run a name through the REJIS database to search for immigration warrants, according to court testimony.

Arinze admitted checking on a name for Ghandi Hisham Hamed, who is currently facing a charge in a multidefendant racketeering conspiracy, bank fraud and stolen property case. Federal officials say that members of the “Hamed Organization,” headed by Bassam H. “Sam” Hamed of Florissant, were transferring money to “entities” in the Palestinian territories.

Defense lawyers insist their clients were simply sending money back to help relatives at home.

Ghandi Hamed’s lawyer, Larry Hale, declined to comment.

Arinze now faces probation or up to six months in prison under federal sentencing guidelines for the felony charge, unauthorized access to a protected computer.

She resigned from the force while under investigation by the internal affairs unit. The investigation began after the FBI notified the department about the allegations.

Arinze graduated from the Police Academy in 1993 and worked in homicide and the city’s 3rd, 4th and 9th districts.

In 2006, a former St. Louis officer was sentenced to more than eight years in prison for using REJIS to help the boss of a heroin ring identify a possible informer.

Put a cork in it…

Yeah, get him for the DUI…

FOXNews.com – West Virginia Man Charged with Assaulting an Officer – Local News | News Articles | National News | US News

A man arrested for driving under the influence in West Virginia got himself into a lot more trouble later at the police station.

Jose Cruz was pulled over Monday night on Route 60 in South Charleston for driving with his headlights off. He was subsequently arrested after failing a series of sobriety tests, according to WSAZ TV in Charleston.

During fingerprinting, Cruz then allegedly moved closer to one of the officers and passed gas, the station reported. In the complaint, the investigating officer wrote that police noticed a “very strong” odor.

The alleged stunt led Cruz to be charged with another offense — battery on an officer — in addition to DUI and obstruction, WSAZ reported.

Good thing he didn’t have bad breath also

Another shooting

Here we go again, in the land of law (forget the land of freedom line), another shooting of a boarder crossing person has occurred. It’s kinda interesting that the brother of this looser first stated that the person whom was shot had been involved in people sumggling, then kinda recanted that comment after talking to mexican authorities.

U.S. Border Patrol Agent Shoots, Kills Suspected Human Smuggler

Friday, August 10, 2007

EL PASO, Texas — A Border Patrol agent shot and killed a suspected smuggler at a fence that separates the U.S. and Mexico after the agent felt threatened by the man, authorities said Thursday.

Mexico criticized what it described as an “excessive use of force” against immigrants and demanded an investigation.

Jose Alejandro Ortiz Castillo, a 23-year-old man who had been caught crossing the border 28 times since 1999, died in Mexico shortly after the Wednesday night shooting, Border Patrol spokesman Doug Mosier said.

What is also interesting in this whole bag of worms is the fact that Mexico wants legal action:

The Mexican government demanded in a statement that “all the weight of the law be brought to bear against the person or persons responsible.”
“The Mexican government expresses a firm protest against the use of lethal weapons in the face of situations that do not represent a proportionate risk,” the Foreign Relations Department said.

And ya know, they are right. The mexican government is totally responsible for the people crossing the boarders and should be held for these crimes. The mexican government should be paying the families millions of dollars to those killed while trying to cross into our country. I mean lets get this right, if an American gets hurt a law suit will ensue and millions trade hands, geezzz some drug smuggler from mexico got shot in the butt and not only get immunity for his actions but is suing for big bucks.
Personally I think we should be charging Mexico for those people we are holding in jail and have to transport back to their country, and while I know they won’t pay directly, I’d make it so any commercial vehicle crossing the boarder into our country has to pay a additional toll. Why not? Were being tolled.

Can you belive this one

This is one of the of news articles that is in the headlines right now, but what gets me is some of the information that is really suspect…

Do they have the suspect van?
Case of missing girl heats up

SEAN ROBINSON; The News Tribune
Published: July 11th, 2007 06:22 AM

A sex offender whose home and van were searched Sunday and Monday hasn’t been eliminated as a suspect in the July Fourth disappearance of 12-year-old Zina Linnik, Tacoma police said Tuesday.

“We can’t say that he’s the one,” said police spokesman Mark Fulghum. “But we still haven’t been able to eliminate him from any involvement.”

Fulghum wouldn’t say whether the man was connected to a tip that led police to the Tiger Mountain area in Issaquah on Tuesday.

The search of the Parkland home where the 42-year-old man was staying yielded “girl’s undergarments,” among other items, according to search warrant records.

The article goes on to say the person changed out the van plates from what the police were looking for and the person is held for immigration problems…. IMMIGRATION PROBLEMS? Lets look at this from the perspective of a community with problems from within it’s own boundaries. I don’t mean to say there is something wrong with the actual community per say, but, like the case of the drunk driver killing the girls in Georgia, whom was a person who shouldn’t of been in our country, if this person also falls into that category and the powers that be in the community knew about it, then that is a community problem.

Another catch…

Why was this person out running around in the first place?

Raymond Gomez

TAMPA – When Officer Felicia Pecora knocked on 42-year-old Raymond Gomez’ door Sunday night – conducting a routine patrol check – she immediately became suspicious. Pecora says it was Gomez’ look that gave him away.

“When he answered the door, he kind of hid behind it, and his eyes were just big as saucers,” Pecora recalled. “He just didn’t expect to see us. He looked like when people are naked and you catch them.”

This looser should have been locked up with the key tossed away instead he’s out corrupting other young people

Sad state of affairs…

When you think about this little byline story hidden away in our local paper, you know more about the person assaulted than the loser who got arrested…

Woman reports being sexually assaulted

A 20-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted behind Latin Vibe at 2526 S. Campbell Avenue around 1:41 a.m. Sunday, according Officer Grant Story, spokesman for the Springfield Police Department.

The woman had minor injuries.

The 18-year-old suspect, who was identified as Hispanic in a police report, is being held in the Greene County Jail for Immigration and Naturalization Services.

No charges have been filed. The man’s immigration status in the country has not been determined yet, Story said.

NO CHARGES FILED AND THE PERSON MAY EVEN BE HERE ILLEGALLY! What is this country coming to? If I raped someone you think I’ll get a free bus trip to a hot resort in Vegas or something? Maybe I look too American to get away with anything. If I get a better tan maybe I can get off with no taxes and free college… the ability to rape people and be handled with kid gloves afterwards.
