“Jermain Taylor vs. Kelly Pavlik”
Great fight, I thought sure Kelly was going to loose it in the second round but he was able to get up after a knock down, hold on, and make it through to the bell. He came out a bit shaky in the third but it seemed that Taylor has burnt himself out a bit and Kelly was able to throw enough good shots to stop Jermain from getting a breather and a second wind. Kelly went on to win the bout with a knock out (technical) and with just cause. It wasn’t a quick stoppage nor was it a “maybe”. Nice fight, with a contracted rematch clause that will most likely be a pleasure to watch.
